Dear Believers.
If you believe your beliefs dictate where you're going to spend eternity should you put more thought into the matter than "well, that's what my parents believed"?

Expecting theists to think critically about their beliefs? What are you, some kind of tyrant?

Well, since we're oppressing the poor beleaguered Christian majority anyway... Thumbs Up

Dear believers:
Why do you cherry pick parts of the Bible and ignore the rest?

Asking for a friend.
      Christianity:
God meddles in the affairs of humans in a small part the Earth for 1500 years, giving one tribal society rules to live by.
He stops all direct contact for the next 2,000 years, leaving us with a metaphorical set of instructions.

A couple of generations back, here in Australia, it was noted that many young
people—children, teenagers and late adolescents would simply give their parents'
religion when asked for theirs by census takers or survey reporting companies.
Mainly in actuality because they'd never thought about religion, or simply couldn't
be bothered formulating their own genuine response on the spot.  So their parents'
religion was the easy answer.

These young respondents' religious claims were then used by religious organisations
to swell the number of alleged  adherents to their religion. And in turn these
skewed figures were used in part to claim increased Federal spending on religiously-based
hospitals and schools etc, claiming that "most" Australians had religious beliefs which
needed to be subsidised by the nominally  Christian-principled government.

This of course was all bullshit, and through the last couple of decades Aussie kids
have started thinking more for themselves, and give more appropriate responses
to the religion question.  Which also explains the—relatively-speaking—quick rise in
the number of the non-religious in Australia, at around 31% or more.
I'm a creationist;   I believe that man created God.

Dear believers,

If you believe in freedom, why do you use indoctrination techniques on your own kids?

They believe in the freedom to send you to jail if you don't believe the correct things.

Happenstance of birth determines about 98% of which god you believe in.

Dear Believers:

If you want people who don't believe in your religion to give it a careful look and a fair try, have you done the same for all the other religions out there?
