Oh, no no no no! Aliens came to Earth to show humans how to pile rocks on top of each other. Apparently they didn't think we needed better agriculture, medicine, social skills or WiFi.

Exploring The Earth
A few years ago, I had a small niche business fixing PC's for computer illiterates my age. Didn't really make much money, but met some every interesting people. My favourite was a retired architect.
After I'd known him for a while, I asked if the pyramids in Egypt were in any way advanced, as is often claimed by the "God is an alien" brigade. His response was, big surprise; NO. He went on to explain that pyramid is the simplest form for such large buildings . He had no more idea of the 'how 'of it than I. I have no idea if that also explains why pyramids were built in South and central America . I'm making no claims, I'm only recounting what I was told by an architect .This is hearsay, for which I provide no evidence, so feel free to dismiss. ((((((((((((((((((((((((())))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) I read a while ago that that the ancient Egyptians had built channels up to the pyramid construction sites, for easier delivery of the massive stone blocks being delivered by boat. OF COURSE I understand there are enough theories about how the pyramids were built to justify its own forum. They kill and grow their own food. Most have no running water or electricity. They get water from the river or well. Many people have to built their own shelter. If you are in the area i recommend the tour of the village as the money goes towards helping the village. Here is a photo of their school. I watched students from Indiana University build a section of a pyramid using only then-current technology. Wasn't hard. There may be video of this online, which fuzzy-haired Greek demagogues will have seen and vigorously ignored.
Pyramids of Mexico. Moon and Sun pyramid.
I missed a free ride to the States to visit Teotihuacan. Worth it.
I then rode a local service bus to Texas. That was ... interesting. (09-20-2019, 05:39 AM)Red Belt Wrote: Pyramids of Mexico. Moon and Sun pyramid. I visited the Pyramids of Mexico in 1974. There appears to have been much refurbishing of the site since then.

Did you notice that from the right angle, in the middle of the plaza, each pyramid has a matching hill or mountain behind it?
