We find the same old Tacitus and the same old Pliny.
What you don't understand, or refuse to understand, is that neither T or P mention the name Jesus. If I'm wrong show me where.
Josephus? Jo-fucking-sephus?
I know you didn't write to me but may I offer an answer?
Josephus most probably did write about Jesus but we just don't know what he wrote.
How? Why? Well, if Christians had placed that entry within his writings they certainly would not have snuck it in there, and they would certainly have written a great deal more than was written (elsewhere) about JtheB.
So it looks as if Christians simply edited a small piece about Jesus in the 'troubles' section that was already there.
Even enemies of Christianity wrote about Jesus in the 2nd century, now why would they do that if he had only been a construct by con artists?
