What movie did you last see?
Coco (2017)
A young Mexican boy accidentally enters the afterlife during Dia de los muertos and must search out his great-great grandfather, a famous musician, for his blessing in order to return to the land of the living.
This is a gorgeously written and animated film. I love the representation of the city of the dead as pillars of buildings constructed over successive generations atop ancient aztec foundations. The neon-colored animal spirit guides are lovely. I can't recommend this movie enough.
As a fan of the Predator franchise, I can say with full confidence that the movie is a raging dumpster fire.
