Watched the first four episodes of The Outsider (HBO). Well written, cast, and directed.
It is based on the same-named 2018 Stephen King novel. A teacher is accused of a brutal child murder, and the police have ironclad evidence: fingerprints, eyewitnesses, DNA, video. But equally compelling evidence exists that he was NOT the murderer. Eyewitnesses and video conclusively put him at a teacher's conference 70 miles away at the time of the murder.
That's the setup; I won't give away any spoilers. If you're in the mood for mystery / horror, it's as good as any I've seen.
