by Jacki DeShannon from 1963 is by far the best version. It was co-written
by Sonny Bono and Jack Nitzsche (who was producer Phil Sector's right-hand
man, and who also played keyboard for the Rolling Stones).
But don't bother with the atrocious version by Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks—who's
totally "off-key", seemingly confusing her vocalisation with that on "Rhiannon".
