I don't dispute it but I don't quite get it. The biggest thing (imho) about God or gods is agency, the idea that there is not just a supernatural thing but one with a personality, sentience, a thing that one could say "what's it like being (x)?" unlike, say, a rock or a board. Could there be something "supernatural" without that characteristic, like in Star Wars, the Force, or something like that? I guess, but it would need at least some describing and explaining.
