Did you notice that from the right angle, in the middle of the plaza, each pyramid has a matching hill or mountain behind it?

I visited the Pyramids of Mexico in 1974. There appears to have been much refurbishing of the site since then.

Yes to both questions. 

Simonga Village is a poor village in Zambia where people live with the very basics. They kill and grow their own food. Most have no running water or electricity. They get water from the river or well. Many people have to built their own shelter. If you are in the area i recommend the tour of the village as the money goes towards helping the village.
